I suspect they may have been in talks with Medtronic at the time. Medtronic may have forced them to adjust their projections to be more in line with reality. Once that happened, it opened the door for the two to work together.

mcnally erased all timelines to fda and we were out of money,we were in limbo till the mdt deal,now its a totally different ballgame,if mcnally does it again we could be in the same situation but with the mdt deal and support i cant see it happening again,i think mdt buys us this yr,mdt doesnt have a choice if they really want to end isrg davincis monopoly in the sp surgical robot arena but of course nothing is a guarantee with stocks but this is as close as it gets,again how does mdt compete with isrg davinci without tmdi sport enos

They took away their milestones which caused it to fall and now they are in a much better situation, a much much better path than ever before.
