I started to read this. Then I stopped. I get that what the hedge funds and big money do shorting stocks isn’t right. In fact, it probably shouldn’t be legal. And yes some people will make a lot of money on these squeezes...insane money.
Sadly, I fear the bigger picture here is that everybody is else will lose. People couldn’t even log in to their brokers yesterday for 30 minutes to hours while everything was taken down mysteriously. Premarket as I write this I see everything is looking like it will be down again.
I don’t have a good feeling about how this is going to end and I fear most people who built up any wealth greater then when they had a few years ago are going to lose a lot of it just this week alone...Nevermind if this trend continues.
Brokers are already changing rules and Nasdaq sounds like they’re going to change rules as well. Somehow i believe big money will still be protected and will still win in the long run.
Just some thoughts.
