I don't read every word of every post here because if I did, I would never get anything else done.
I usually read the first line or two and decide from there whether or not the rest of the post is worth reading or if it's just the same repetitious bs that I've read over and over.
Unfortunately your little bit of vulgarity happened to be in the first line of your post so it just jumped out at me.
You are right that we do disagree politically but I don't really see why that has to be a problem with so many people. I have many friends who disagree with my political views and we are still civil towards one another. I even have a few who now agree with my political views which is something I never thought would happen.
Once upon a time this board was a "discussion" board although it's hard for me to remember when, but now it's just a mudslinging cesspool to which I have also contributed.
Although I can delete your post, I won't, because as you said, there are other posters who also post things that I consider vulgar and I haven't deleted them.
I save my deletions for graphic vulgarity I guess.
