Well, if I open an account, I will not transfer it from Etrade to them, I will keep Etrade and start with the minimum 5,000. Once I get my Etrade quota which will be within the first month of the quarter, I'll trade out of the other one. That is my plan! I have too many other accounts tied to my Etrade account - my kids accounts, ira's , and bank accounts - to completely cancel it. You might want to consider this route too - at least just in the beginning!

every one please give me feed your back if you use free trade would like to hear the comparisions from other brokers, I have used them for 3 years so i dont know any other brokers. when national discount brokers sold out to ameritrade they were the best at the time.
