Yep. That makes sense to me.

I have heard a lot of people complain about companies that don't provide results RIGHT NOW! And it obvious they don't understand the complexities involved. And the bigger the contract the longer the delays as more people have sign off on it.

So... in the end, if the rumor is true, the longer it takes could mean the better the contract is using the logic (or lack thereof) above.

I own a small co but have contracts with Billion dollar Healthcare systems. Nothing ever happens in the timeframe it's supposed to. There is chronically some unforeseen reason for a delay.
