LCYB sought assurances that they would be able to keep using the licensed deal from Reverdia not from BioAmber. It was Reverdia tech that BioAmber was under license to be able to use.
There was never anything assured by BioAmber or asked for from BioAmber. It was an STA drawn up for LCYB to pay the back royalties owed of about $408,000 to Reverdia to use the same tech BioAmber was using but didn’t pay for.
In the end LCYB decided to not pay the back royalties and instead decided to use their own tech.
There is not one item which shows LCYB asking BioAmber for anything at all. LCYB asked to be assigned Reverdia tech at one point but in the end opted out
