We are witnessing real estate rising as the shift from urban to suburban picks up. But we are also witnessing serious deflation in commercial property as people have moved to work remotely ending the need for office space. With Biden in office, the expectations are that money will be pouring out of every crevice. Biden is tearing down the entire structure and has even established a commission to restructure the Supreme Court and stack it with Democrats.
The SEC loves to prosecute anyone OTHER than bankers because it has a revolving door where SEC people are routinely hired by the bankers. Even if you want to work for one of the big firms in New York, you better not be someone who imprisoned a banker. That will be a real job killer.
The next market crash will be blamed on the retail investors instead of the bankers and the Democrats will use it to justify regulating and taxing the rich. We should expect the downside of GameStop will be the unleashing of 'regulators' to shut out the little guy from market participation just as they are hunting people who took selfies inside the Capital.
Nevertheless, the markets are clearly starting to show that we are dealing with a major capital shift and it is the crack in confidence that we have been waiting for. That DOES NOT negate a correction from a Feb high. But this does not appear to be something that would result in a bear market.
