I do remember that. To my knowledge not much else was said after that. So I guess the options are that the offer was withdrawn, lost to another company, or put on hold. Or maybe remotely, that it actually was accepted and just not to the point of making an announcement.
The company has also had other opportunities too. Maybe still in consideration, maybe not. But I think it may indicate that once the time and funding is available they appear to be able to pursue these.
