These are pics of the information from the two available options for searching VAERS data. CDC Wonder is the government’s website. MedAlerts is a site that is managed by NVIC. MedAlerts is generally my go-to, because while it pulls from the same database, it is far more user-friendly, especially if you are using a phone vs laptop or desktop.

The data is released every Friday, and the reports are one week behind at this point.
The data released on January 8th was for reports received through December 30, 2020.
There were 13 deaths originally reported. It was later found that one report was a duplicate, so the number was reduced to 12 deaths. (I accessed the data on the two sites at different times, and by the time I went to CDC Wonder, the error had been caught. That’s why the numbers differ in the two pics.)

The data released on January 15, 2021 was for reports received through January 7, 2021.
There were 66 deaths reported. This number includes the first twelve deaths.

This means that during the eight days between 12/30 and 01/07, there were 54 deaths reported.
That’s an average of nine deaths per day.
