After I graduated from college I moved with my wife to eastern Oklahoma - Poteau area where her parents had bought a ranch after he retired as dean of the business college in New Mexico. Lived there for a year before going to law school at Arkansas. Spent 6 years in Arkansas before locating to Austin in '83. Mostly been a country boy with a pedigree. For you New Yorkers my stepmother's grandfather was the founder of Eastman Kodak along with his scientific minded partner George Eastman. Kind of a parallel with ENZC. On my birth mother's side of the family my great uncle was Frank Coe the last surviving member of the Regulators (see Billy the Kid). Look him up on Wikipedia. On my dad's side we've got Margaret Mitchell and John Wesley Hardin. So we are definitely Hicks.
