I certainly haven't forgotten. The problem for all of us into AU and AG speculative issues is that the price of both is being blatantly manipulated by what is referred to by many as the "Gold Cartel". Both metals have come under heavy selling pressure in London again this morning-right on cue and at the samee time as yesterday. Have a look at the Kitco 3-day charts. The price moves up steadily overnight on Asian buying and is beaten down again. Part of it seems to be political as the dollar usually moves as the reciprocal of the gold price. As long as Sec'y Paulson and the other Goldman Sachs alumni are in the Treasury Dept we can expect this kingd of action. It's depressing to see that this type of manipulation goes on, not only in speculative pennt shares, but also in the world markets. The system is rotton to the core. So much for democracy, free markets and the level playing field.-IMHO- HD
