I heard from unconfirmed source that China became the net zinc exporter starting Nov 06. They are exporting aggressively to take advantage of high zinc price. That could explain the rise of zinc inventory, especially in Singapore.
I want to be careful here wait for the metal stabilized first. Note emerging market stocks got hit hard recently, similar to May 06.
