Alaska, I agree, Rickards has a checkered past that takes away from his credibility. That being said, I did read one of his books and I do enjoy listening to him because he presents another set of ideas for us to digest and think about. I also have read one of Schiff's books and I agree with Schiff's views more than I agree with Rickards' views, though their views at times converge.
Schiff's live videos where he takes questions from viewers/listeners are a treat - the way he takes on questions and answers them is impressive. I don't think Rickards would do as well....or have the same breadth of knowledge as Schiff.
