ATI CONNECT THINKS ITS VIRTUAL PHYSICAL THERAPY IS A VIRTUAL REALITY!
https://www.atipt.com/online-physical-therapy
It’s not just ihub board making up someone it’s not it’s real and it’s in person therapy and virtual therapy depending on the patients needs.
Also online therapy is about 60% of their buisness during this pandemic and has not even been paying for Phzio yet their trial period ends in April and it doesn’t look like they will be changing their heavily promoted Ati connect any time soon so yeah to me it makes sense for a company like Ati to just buy out the platform. Doesn’t seem to far fetched to me imo.

The virtual care is more focused twords initial visits and has built in assessment tools. The meat of the work is still done in person, but the first visit/assessment can be done virtually. Once the patient is on their own or starting the phase of mostly self work at home there can also be instruction and evaluation for safety etc. The platform will also allow for physical therapy networks to expand patient base.

Sorry boss its the future...believe it or not. Most rehab can be done with minimal equipment and is mainly the desire /will of the individual to heal that makes it happen. To say that someone's not being there in person doesn't make it meaningful is inaccurate. Somebody on the other side of a computer screen that's dedicated to their profession and the healing of others embraces their purpose with a lot of meaning.

The debate here isn't about whether their platforms are practical end have a function. The continued rhetoric is the disbelief that EWLL is still in the picture.

General health and wellness is a personal responsibility. Some take it seriously.
