In a nutshell, Eddie "acquired" the non-profit equivalent of an Eddie Vakser ticker.. in other words, a one man operation with hardly a pulse that does little or nothing. In fact, this article from 2018 tells how PFAY's founder Mark Hannah --despite all of his alleged sports celebrity friends-- was good friends with a grifter who claimed to raise money for charities by striking deals with convenience stores and restaurants to put collection jars at their checkout counters. Only problem is most of the money benefited everyone but the kids. According to Hannah--
The watchdog Charity Navigator has no info in this outfit except that it does provide a link to their IRS filings for 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2017. Interesting it doesn't include disclose the "$10k per year" he said he received between 2015-2017 since he apparently chose not to file in 2015 and 2016. In 2017 he took in $6k and spent it all on travel and "other expenses." https://www.charitynavigator.org/ein/550684907#data-source
What's laughable is that EDDIE tried to convince investors that Hannah and his big league sports celebrity connections would be the secret sauce that he (Eddie) needed to make another run at his STARFEST sports collectibles/ art/ "nutraceutical"/ nutritional/ health and wellness multi-level-marketing scam. (Anyone who has gotten an eye full of Eddie lately can instantly see he has no clue about nutrition and wellness unless it comes from a wine bottle).
Anyway, there you have it... two old burned out wannabe world changers each expecting the other to deliver the goods. PFAY HADN'T FILED A TAX RETURN SINCE 2017 and even then it only had revenues of $6k!!! I'm sure Eddie promised Hannah the moon as always. After all Eddie only wants is a pumpable story. This one went nowhere so he abandoned it.. and the kids it supposedly benefited.
