I assume Nader and Kelly are currently working to get all ducks in a row to finally orchestrate the epic beating the shortys deserve for some time now.

And this is why they can't get anything over the finish line. They are too preoccupied with shorts so they do a crapload of PRs that try to get the shorts running (i.e. NASDAQ uplist, UK BLA, Canada BLA, Philippine approval, NASH, etc., etc.). These PRs have no meat to them, just a lot of "soon, very soon" forward looking statements intended to try and get shorts running. They are not thinking about their shareholders who then expect them to follow through on this laundry list of promises. For instance, NP threw out the UK BLA months ago stating "BLA filed very soon and approval within 2 weeks after filing". Now he is off the hook by hiring Mahoob and telling us there is a new sheriff in town and no more timelines. Same with NASDAQ, they know the requirements, they completely jumped the gun in a stunt to scare the shorts. That's the oldest play in the book.

All of these unfulfilled promises actually fuel the shorts vs scare them now. And even the staunchest longs would like to see one approval and something that generates revenue. It's OK for shareholders to hope that shorts get what's coming to them, but management has to be indifferent to them and not even pay attention. You can hear it in NPs voice when he talks about the shorts, they infuriate him. Why even mention them in a CC?

I will say it is coming to a head though with the CD-12. This will be a make or break event for shorts and longs. Like many small bios it will come down to a binary event and while Cytodyn won't technically be "done" if the readout isn't good, they will be be going into the blue tent for evaluation after an unsuccessful trial.
