Worked in and around robotics for several years. Even got approached by Transenterix to come work for them several years back. Their platform doesn’t have a place in hospitals or the OR. I’d even venture to guess they have less than 25 units operational across the US. Whoever buys these guys will scrap it and and salvage the useful IP out of it. Their only play from here is to be bought but it won’t be for much.
