You cannot use broker margins on OTC plays. But, if you don’t have a day trade account, margin will allow you to exit a position and buy a different one same day without clearing. Margin is a must have if you don’t have the 25k min for day trading acct in the OTC anyway.

I would never use margin $$ for NASDAQs or NYSE Trades. Use your own $$. Jmo
