Rockleo,

I absolutely expect side effects. I hope that the myalgia and fatigue are signs of a robust immune response. Plenty of TNF-alpha and IL-6 to go along with development of anti-spike Killer T and B lymphocytes.

I get my second shot next week.

Personally I would start with Tylenol before NSAIDS. Likely a small effect, but intuitively is seems the inflammatory response is part of the adaptive immune response, which I don't want to blunt as covid immunity develops.

My employer instructs us to get the vaccine with at least one day off prior to returning to work. Obviously not a solution for all depending on their schedules, but better that being blind-sided as you were.

I hope the vaccine is highly protective for you as expected. We cannot afford, logistically or ethically, to have more good healthcare practitioners or fellow citizens, cut down by covid.

Be well!

Go CYDY!

Folks here getting the 2nd shot of the Moderna vaccine are getting flu like symptoms, severe head aches, N/V, and fever. Two nurses I know said the 1st one made them sleep all day but felt good. 2nd one is knocking them off their butts. Staff are given 2 days sick leave if they will take the vaccine. There were not enough "front line" workers who took the vaccine so it was opened to the nursing school. Not enough of them took it so it has been made available for the "high risk" individuals in the general population. There is still a lot of questions in some peoples mind about taking a vaccine that is not really a vaccine but something that might give you immunity for a while, but not a life time. Kind of like getting a flu shot every 3 months? Who knows. I'll keep talking to my friends who choose to become a study....

I saw today on TV elderly people driving their car, just stopping for a moment, not getting out of the car, get vaccinated while sitting in the car and then move on.

Is this responsible to vaccinate like distributing a burger in a drive-in? For me, this is irresponsible crazy. Everybody who gets vaccinated should be watched for at least 30 minutes nearby....but I am not a doctor, just one who will wait for another 3 to 6 months until becomes vaccinated and buy in the meantime, if possible, a shot Leronlimab. When I will be back in Malaysia I might even fly over to Manila to buy LL in case elsewhere not possible to buy.

I had a terrific soreness in my left wrist and swollen area before my thumb. After first jab. Went away after 24 hours.

Rockleo- Do we know how many patients in the CD12 are critical and how many are severe or does it matter since the endpoint is mortality also it would seem to me that in the placebo group there would be many more deaths than over those that received Leronlimab even at 2:1 also we don’t know is exactly what the difference is within each group as far as some being more critical say a transplant patient that is critical vs a non transplant patient that is critical I originally thought it would be a simple who lived and who did but I don’t think it will be that simple or it shouldn’t be because of different variables within each patient. I’m sure you have a far better understanding than I do
