Mm's have nothing to do with it. The OTC is an automated market, which means people aren't making decisions, computers are. Automatic. Automatic. Automatic. The spread is adjusted to simply keep them trading - and that is automatic too.
How you people can keep thinking there is some fool in his grandmother's basement with a tin foil hat trying to score $20 beer money by playing 'tricks' on sub penny stocks is laughable.
MM's don't care WHERE the share price goes - they get their commission on down going or up going share price. The only thing MM's don't like is when a stock stops trading, because THEN, THEY must trade among themselves to 'make a market', which is what MM actually means.
When there are 'walls', it is traders. Shareholders like you with either tons of shares to unload, or a bid to get a butt full of shares.
I have 180M shares of one company. I 'could' set a limit sell at a 10% profit for all of those shares. It would take forever to fill- but it would eventually fill, and you would blame Mm's. NO, just a whale taking an easy 10% profit over time. Don't even have to watch those. They just pay off over time.
