I remember being disappointed that nothing was happening against him yet. Turns out that the DECN case was a much bigger one, and needed months more of evidence gathering.



One of the reasons was the perjury element.
When the ARYC parties had their collars felt, they did not make things worse by denying all wrongdoing and then impugning the honesty and motivations of the investigating authorities.
In DECN's case, that approach seems to have resulted in both a delay in, and a subsequent doubling down of the enforcement action.
But it looks like Berman has now well and truly fallen off that Tiger he was riding, and seems well on his way to being roundly filleted by it, methinks!

There was a 3rd party promoter on the ARYC case as well, that the SEC cracked down on.
