You're tying this to Trump when it should not be, I think Trump already missed the boat to be able to use the GSE's plight to his benefit by exposing it years ago. Mnuchin (despite being part of the Trump administration) is the one I most worry abiut, Calabria next. Neither are friends t the GSE's and both are irretrievably tied to WS and TBTF. I don't even think this os on Trump's radar.
