I checked Elite's PRs for 2013-2016 and there is nothing about Jason LePree...here is the link...

https://elite.irpass.com/profiles/investor/ResLibrary2.asp?GoTopage=1&BzID=2258&t=1956&G=939&Category=2163

Still, he may well have served to assist as a consultant, notable but that does not warrant a PR. So, I am not sure where this supposition is grounded. Still, it did offer some interesting revelations.

LePree has published in academic journals but, more importantly, in 2016 while working for Abon Pharma, he and four others received a patent for a long acting injectible formulation. Here it is...

https://patents.google.com/patent/US20170196855A1/en

Rather than the ungrounded supposition this may mean a failure in developing the next big ANDA, the question is whether this portends another portfolio extension by Elite? If investors recall, Nasrat mentioned a "fondness" for injectibles (my term not his), as they have higher profit margins; though they do pose different manufacturing complexities that Elite may not currently be configured to manage. Still, no small company brings in another officer without the belief it would provide value. As a profitable company, it makes things even more interesting because a new portfolio development would make Elite more valuable.

OBTW: Please do not trouble me with the p/s, as it is meaningless when a company is profitable and continues to develop its business. I truly tire of the one-note complaints about the p/s. In truth, I can recall a number of occasions when the executive team at my Fortune 50 laughed out loud at some of the complaints by investors who were singularly focused on the p/s and oblivious to the business development taking place in plain sight. The punchline for that, of course, was that most investors were "blind" to business development. And, that is why I am here...to clear up confusion.

For example, how could anyone pose a question about Elite filing for bankruptcy when they are profitable? Talk about a disconnect with business reality!!!
