Float is what we should care about.
Example: there could have been an additional 300 million restricted shares turning into unrestricted that was accumulated with this volume and is now in the float.
Going by this example, 600 million shares (300 million OS increase + my 300 million restricted to unrestricted example) was dumped and absorbed by all of this volume
So, I wouldn’t be too disappointed by only a 300 million increase into the OS, because in actuality, the amount of shares dumped into the float may be much higher
if they wanna blow their shares in the teens, so be it. It’s better down here than higher
