Borel - I think this is stretching it a bit:

Full cure? I think it helps quite a bit but IMO, not fully cures it.

I am not certain that leronlimab crossed an intact BBB, but infection and trauma disrupt the BBB. As discussed by a number here, mAbs including leronlimab are very large molecules.

I still don't know that the covid virus itself causes a big problem through direct damage to neurons. Microglia should be able to handle the primary infection.

Leronlimab has the opportunity pass with infection and / or inflammation. I don't believe there is anything unique about Leronlimab that would allow BBB penetration.

Importantly, blocking CCR5 should stop the migration of inflammatory cells, through an intact or disrupted BBB. Stopping the migration of the inflammatory cells is key(into brain in long haulers, MS, Alzheimers or into the lungs Covid/influenza ARDS).
