#5872 RE: RazorBoy #5871

Well, we don't know 100% why an agreement never materialized with the other company (good question to ask, though - by the way) - The original company could have wanted the tech, but terms for a partnership were not favorable to AMNL and another company swooped in and partnered. We just don't know.

Also, it is hard to say what company is part of the agreement now. $500,000 (1M?) is a lot of money to you and I (and to Applied - a company with a M/C of only $4.5M) - but to a major batt manufacturer it is peanuts - so, it is hard to know how serious they are. There are some major players in that area (like Batech, LG, Samsung etc.), but it is impossible to know if any of them are involved and how serious they are in actual development. I am sure they aren't putting all their eggs in one basket and AMNL's solution is just one of many they are testing out.

I too share your concern about the BASF agreement that was supposed to save the company and be this big windfall that materialized absolutely nothing.

I think Carney just doesn't have anything to say right now at this stage and is scared to speculate. However, having a "vision" for the future and a "direction" for the company (and sharing it) isn't speculation and could get shareholders to understand what he is thinking for the future -

The way the meeting went, it left us with very little new information and almost an assurance that we will not hear anything from the company unless something major happens (and even then, it might be in a filing vice a press release).

I was hoping the elder CEO, Concha, was skimpy on the PRs and social media because he is up there in years, and was hoping Carney (being younger) would understand the importance and change direction upon taking over, but so far it doesn't look like it, at all.
