Hi Cintrix. My Etrade accounts still have both the Realized and Taxable choices.

I wasn't aware that TDA only gives you realized gains amounts. They don't calculate the wash sales? What about on the 1099? Do they list the wash sale amount? Don't they have to do that now?

As far as TD Amertrade. They have a section GAIN/LOSS REPORTS.

You can choose YTD with wash sale adjustments. I will ammend my comment to been there because this will be a more accurate profile of taxable gain/loss (in case he/she has any wash sales this year.)

cintrix... Actually, AMTD does give Gain/Loss with and w/o wash sales.
It is just arrived at by a different "click-click" path. By clicking on "Tax Center" one arrives at those choices. I have not mentioned it in my posts because 1) I do not understand wash sales completely and 2) in my case wash sales and non wash sales are almost identical.
