I called TDameritrade on Friday to ask and they said they are adopting the same policy. I just called again and they are adopting the same policy.

I don't know who you talked to snakess, but it appears you are wrong. As I said before, I don't think it will matter because they will be off the greys and the caveat emptor will be removed by then, but as of now, TD will not accept opening trades after 1/31/21.
