This is when they changed from the very expensive platinum catalyst to a "claimed" cheaper one to make the pixie dust. The trouble was that the new catalyst only achieved ~1.5Volts. They need > 2.1Volts for any hope of sustainable H2 separation from H2O. It also did not last very long as catalysts decay (i.e. degrade) with use and exposure to UV. The catalyst was improved somewhat but what happened was to use another O2 catalyst to improve separation which was never very good. If I can find those (and I don't think they revealed what they were), I will update this info.

The bottom line is that they NEVER published ANY results but only made CYA claims in the PR releases which were covered by all of the disclaimers.
