China could always invade Australia and stay. People think they have their eye on it. Each year, Australia has allowed a few China war ships to visit and harbor there for a week or so. This year, more ships than they were expecting showed up.
IMO, China is militarizing like the Third Reich did in the 1930's. This is very scary stuff.
