Yep the government sucks! It is good to be Pharma. Big tech, big pharma, lobbyists, conflicts of interest everywhere. Big Money... same ole same ole in gross DC. Bring on Brilacidin... no matter it will be B’s time soon.
There certainly doesn't appear to be by the FDA any degree of ranking of INDs as to their testing results and pushing faster those that were outstanding. Whatever the reason, not something the FDA can say puts a feather in their cap.
My personal opinion is that the FDA is highly aware of Brilacidin results and has other reasons for holding back progress of trials. Whether that is the whole FDA or just a few highly paid gatekeepers (paid by the BP lobbyists)makes no difference to me, it is still the FDA as an agency slowing the progress down. Sad to even have this thought about an agency that could be allowing many deaths due to inaction.
