I sound like a really broken record: Yes, they are slow, and yes they are way understaffed and have been for years. And yes, their sometimes sloppy rules are really written by the BP lobbyists. And yes, they have their top staff members appointed by an administration that has further hollowed out the agency. So, you say they are still slow, and they are, so why did the president's appointees approve every statement, as they do. Who is really the mess up here?
