Irwin Simon is a very sharp guy and knows what he is doing. He is willing to pay a premium for Tilray, knowing that much bigger rewards will come later. There would have been no deal without paying a premium. I don’t think that Tilray’s present situation is quite as desperate as that of other MJ companies for a low ball offer or a hostile takeover. I plan to buy Tilray shares if they drop.
