Oh yeah, and the stock cratered a dramatic 2.75%... Wait, that $18 target is a 52-week target, based on expected future business trends (read 2007). It´s not a 24hrs target.
Their call could turn out to be a very good one, since Spansion has regularly moved from ~$14 to ~$18 and back.
Really, I'm to trust their judgment (remember, these are supposed to be analysts with access to information the 'normal investor' doesn't have and whose job it is to research company performance) when they didn't even see a warning coming?
