Elizabeth Mittendorf and Angelos Stergiou both had positive things to say and the data speaks for itself. The report might help elucidate the science a little for you as well. Cancer vaccines have been around for awhile but the problem with most of them is their very short lived effect on the immune system. Immunotherapy is still a young field in cancer therapy with much research still to be done and therapies developed, however, Sellas' published data on Friday provides real hope in this medical field for a Sellas therapy that will hopefully be, at the very least, a highly effective adjuvant therapy for the treatment of women with HER2-expressing breast cancer as well as potentially other HER2-bearing cancers.
