Renavatio, Crime in NO??? How could that be when all the thugs, druggies, child molesters, crack heads, murderers and prostitutes have all moved to Houston? What a F'ing mess. My friends with HPD said it's a war zone around every location in Houston where they are living on the government tit. Time for open season as far as I'm concerned, no special tags needed and no limits.
I think I agree but there are dynamics at work here that are something new to our society. We may need federal intervention...military with no agenda associated with the local community. I think we have an undercurrent society that may be a step below the average street crimimal. Might be reverse socialization. There is a group of people that were in a lower income situation that were driven to survival. And no where to turn. If you don't run away, what do you do to get the next meal.
