I don't trade pennies too much anymore but, if you are an active trader you should be able to negotiate that price with Etrade and get it down. As far as free, they probably won't do that for you. Trading without commission is a totally different experience - you will trade differently (and better because you can break up trades if you don't get filled all the way without worrying about being charged) - if you can find a broker who doesn't charge for commission on otc go for it. When you do, let us know who you chose and if you like them.
Now that Etrade is eliminating Strategy Scanner they are on my chitlist!

Go with Schwab. Fidelity will restrict certain pinkseet stocks. This is the message you will see with some pennystocks.




Schwab allows pinksheet, greysheet stocks and it's still zero commission.
