The O/S is in my "happy place".
In simplicity, the lower the O/S the greater chance a merger can happen without a reverse split (or if there is one good chance it will be modest).
That is why I target (and pay a premium for) stocks with lower share structures.
Also, the lower the float the easier it can move AND the greater the chance share blocks can be canceled since they are still restricted (its rare but it happens).
In my book, the lower the float the better. Should know pretty soon what we got.
