Yep - I know. I was just saying if anyone 'was' shortselling. It makes sense that some longs are selling due to taxes or other reasons. Anyone though that waited that long (to be a long) would've waited a bit more for imminent news but, to each their own..
BTW- "People aren’t shorting a $2.30 stock....there’s nowhere to go." actually there are people. Someone recently posted a twitter handle showing their daily short activity for CYDY. FYI. Agree nowhere to go but a buck is a buck.
But Grip, a Long who has sold some of their holdings is not the same thing as a Short. Two different objectives. I know you know that, but thought I should point it out. Not trying to be confrontational.
Grip it and sip it- I said it before and many on this board didn’t like it. Once again you have proved your investment prowess. Not sure how you know what you know but damn son if you didn’t hit the nail on the head.We have not always seen eye to eye but I give credit where credit is due. I’m long and don’t know enough about flipping especially as a first time investor in the OTC whirlwind. I , like you will not make the same mistake I made on June 30 as I’m sure there are many who feel the same. When you jump back out do it in a quite manner as to not drop the stock for the rest of us hahaha! Best of luck to you with all of your investments
I somewhat agree with you on this. If you were short and didn’t get out at 1.63 - 2 then the only other theory would be short interest is being funded by an adversary that doesn’t care about the $$. Although that requires a conspiracy theory that I am not convinced of..
Schwab is still going around asking people to lend their CYDY shares. The interest wasn’t as high as few months ago at around 150%, but it’s still probably around 30% for shorts to borrow shares. That means CYDY is still considered a HTB stock, so there are plenty of shorts left in this stock.
I've been with Fidelity for 40 years and have never been approached about lending shares until last week. The stock they were looking for? CYDY at 13% interest.
