There was a great TED video by Juan Enriquez about an FDA chief who never allowed a single cardiac or pulmonary drug to pass under his tenure. By swamp standards he had a perfect record as he didn’t kill anyone by a drug he approved.
The funny part is he was also outed as the guy that screwed up DC traffic every morning by getting on the beltway, setting cruise at 55 in the left hand lane and driving 17 miles to work. His last name became a verb.
The video has been scrubbed from the internet. That alone should wake some people up.
