Have to cover naked short positions, then why and how would the stock ever move up? Couldn't the MMs simply naked short the stock to their heart's desire, absorbing any and all buying and then pocketing the money? There must be some limit to what they can get away with.
greenmonster - I certainly appreciate your view and I understand I will always be sacraficing the chance at a higher pps when I sell. The mm's do manipulate stocks to their advantage and I am not a sophisticated enough trader (don't even have level II) to decipher their moves.
If Pebbles keeps moving up with some momentum I'll have to decide if it's worth the risk to chase it.
Being an as yet unreporting pinksheet stock with a gagged TA I just decided that pulling off a 130% gain in a little over 2 months was decent enough for a guy of my limited knowledge of these conniving mm's and the stocks they play with.
I protected my capital. I could have done better but if I could only do half as well every time I invest, I'll be happy.
