Funny that you use the words "sink in"...I think the exact same thing, except I would say that this information will require shorts to cover, and they are chomping at the bit hoping for a sale by someone with some ask that won't be so painful for the shorts.

What will sink in is that they won't get anywhere near the ask they want for the magnitude of the short position they want to liquidate.

Yeah, they can pretend that this isn't a big deal...sure... until it is.

Then it's going to be fire exit time.

You won't necessarily see long term shareholders celebrating by purchasing more shares...

... that's because most longs nowadays could care less about whether there's revocation or not we're resigned to the fact that we've come to terms about owning a private erhc.

Hence, most existing longs probably have their fill... plus Etrade customers can't buy... although that'll change if the Division decides to drop the case and we're back on the pinks and no longer caveat emptor... but not that even that is a big deal for longs because on the pinks shorting would just simply resume.

But... that's not the case with new longs who might be interested in placing a bet on a company on the basis that they may escape revocation while also enjoying the prospect of a Total / Kosmos deal.

And that pressure, once it "sinks in" among new longs will put that much more pressure on the chomping at the bit shorts.
