It's widely reported that around 50% have serious reservations about getting an early vaccine

I suggest rechecking the most recent numbers! Per a Gallup Poll, which was made public 10 days ago, 58% of the U.S. population will opt to get the COVID-19 vaccine, with 65% of doctors opting for the vaccine.

If there are those choosing to not get vaccinated, so be it! Many of these folks will get tired of the cost and hassle of regularly being tested, especially as they watch those who have been vaccinated returning to a level of normalcy!

Funniest thing! As more people are vaccinated and there are minimal or no side effects, the percentage of those willing to come aboard the effort to save humanity will increase. Herd immunity commonly occurs when 70% to 80% of the population has a natural immunity or has been innoculated with an effective vaccine.

I love all the continuing hoopla about testing in light of the fact there will be hundreds of millions of vaccine doses distributed by mid-2021. Also, there will continue to be over two hundred proven COVID-19 testing modalities already in place, while DECN doesn't even have any sort of test that has proven to work. BTW, the 200 to 300 testing modalities that have already been granted an EUA by the U.S. FDA are not going to go "poof" and disappear.

The currently authorized COVID-19 tests work and the investment has already been written off! The urgent care clinic that is using a very effective Abbott ID Now to provide an extremely accurate result in 10 to 15 minutes, is not going to trash the Abbott ID now in favor of some other new process or unfamiliar technology!

The statement has everything to do with testing, since the vaccine doesn't restrict spread.

HOLD ON THERE!
There is No evidence that the vaccine will prevent asymptomatic spread among those vaccinated AS YET!

There is a whole world between that statement and your completely false assertion above.
Clearly the vaccine restricts spread to some extent!. IT reduces the number and severity of the infections which occur (demonstrated fact from the reported clinical studies!) thereby reducing the number of virus particles available to be spread.

What the CEO Is saying is it is not safe to assume that vaccibated persons cannot convey the virus (aymmptomatically) to unvaccinated person 100% of the time! as there is no evidence to support this.

Nor is there any evidence that vaccinated persons HAVE spread Covid yet. There is no data yet!

Get vaccinated is teh message!
