People will still want to drive their own car whether it is manual or not. Look what happened with carpooling? Nobody did it.....1 car , 1 person in it.

I don't know about the "5 year" timeline...but it does appear vehicle ownership could be down in the next few generations...but that's waay down the line. Millennials and Gen-Z appear to own fewer vehicles than Gen-X and baby boomers. At least here the the US.

Maybe the bigger picture play is CHINA not USA...for those long on NIO...
