"Again please point out on the Innova website any app other than the Innova QDX HealthID app."

On Nov. 11, Julie Manley, Innova Director of Communications, wrote a PR about UK government testing. The Innova PR is posted on the Innova website under Media.

https://www.innovamedgroup.com/post/u-k-government-conducting-whole-city-screenings

Using the National Health Service (NHS COVID-19) app, people can book a test and later input their test results. Individuals taking part in the rollout of Operation Moonshot, will be notified of positive or negative results by text or email. With this important test-and-trace system in place, public health authorities can diagnose cases, isolate infected patients, trace their contacts and implement stringent infection control policies to reduce outbreaks.

The British government is spending billions on their Covid Ecosystem, that includes trace and track, testing, app, tier restrictions, logistics, etc.

The government is paying for the millions of tests being perform across the country and this test data will go into their system. If an app is going to be used to simply read test results into their comprehensive IT system, then the government can probably add that function to their NHS app.

The government may collaborate with the various test makers to develop the reader functions for their unique test formats, but I would expect the government to then roll those readers into their NHS app.

I don't see the British government changing horses in the middle of the raging river at this point, there is too much momentum and political baggage. Innova got their Golden Ticket and will probably continue to sell as many test kits as they can deliver to the British government in the coming months, but that deal is not dependent on the QDXH app being bundled with the test kits.

ONE aspect of the QDX app for a Health Passport uses facial recognition.

Yes, the only one that matters - providing assurance to 3rd parties.

To verify one's own test result?
