I hope they will allow IPIX to start early, agree with why they wait for 30 days when preliminary data show promising results.

Yes, the FDA can get back to the company earlier than the 30 days.

As I understand it, if the FDA does not raise any issues within 30 days of the IND submission then the trial can start. However, I also understand that the FDA can give a response to the IND that allows the company to begin the trial without having to wait 30 days. That is the option that I hope the FDA chooses. Why should people continue to die while the world waits 30 days for the expiration of some arbitrary deadline? Bureaucracy at its finest?
