Yes, I’m quite sure their revenues will not change based on the division of the C-band spectrum. Telco is a small time cable service provider only. They operate 7 registered earth receive stations and distribute those signals received to subscribers. They have no licenses for any of the spectrum in the auctions. They have no earth stations for which they could receive a “lump sum payment’ unless they want to sell their cable business.
The list of bidders provided is those cell phone carrier companies bidding for licenses from the FCC to operate cell equipment in the portion of the C-band being vacated by the satellite program distribution companies who currently hold those licenses. The funds from those spectrum sales go to pay for the clearing of the spectrum by the current users and to the government. The funds mentioned in the pr come from the auction proceeds and are used to upgrade the earth receive stations equipment used by the cable companies to work in the smaller section of the C-band.
