If the IND is filed this week, then we are looking at a maximum of 35 days until the trials can start. Once the IND is filed, and if nothing is said by the FDA, then the trial can start 30 days from that date. Or the FDA can let the company know that they can go ahead and start the trial without waiting the 30 days.

People are dying. If the FDA lets the 30 days go by without responding, then some bureaucrat needs to lose their job.
