"Someone" is always buying in major BKs, often just covering shorts. I've followed a bazillion BKs over the years. Certainly never invested in one. I make money with MY blue chips.

Often you'll see a small uptick just before court cancellation of shares as the last shorts seeks to exit with their profits.

Wait for a major market meltdown like in 2000-2002 and you'll witness that common sense Does apply to OTC junk. Where are all those longshot dot com stocks from the 1990s??? Poof!
