No question - RIM mgt has to do the reverse; if you or I were involved there would be no getting around it. The problem is RIM mgt is who brought us to this rather ugly reality. They wasted 10s in millions of resources over an extended period of years. They mortgaged their future in order to line their own pockets. Wasn't Ray in the mortgage business prior to Silliwood, prior to New Visual? I guess he saw an opportunity to exploit his prior mortgage experience when he came across Silliwood, and has been helping RIM mortgage its future away ever since, eh?
